Other Project Work

Home Composting - In 2008 CRISP successfully handed over the Home Composting Project which provides subsidised Home Compost Kits and Wormeries to the residents of Southwark to Veolia ES Southwark. CRISP piloted and then ran the project over a four year period from 2004 to 2008. Over this period the project has provided over 5,200 Home Composting Kits and Wormeries to local residents, enabling them to recycle over 500 tonnes of organic waste per year and produce their own compost. The Wormeries are for local residents without gardens and are continuing to be manufactured by the homeless charity St Mungo's based on the CRISP design as part of their work experience / training programme for homeless people in London.
