Elephant Jobs
Elephant Jobs was established in 1977 and runs a wide range of projects that support local economic, social and environmental regeneration. The organisation’s activity is delivered through three overarching project areas:
- Resource Management (Elephant Jobs Resource Management);
- Enterprise & Employment (Elephant Enterprises); and
- Environmental (CRISP).
Over the last five years there has been a significant shift in funding from grants to contracts, service level agreements and income generated through charitable activities. Elephant Jobs has also been successful in generating funding through donations and corporate social responsibility, especially in relation to the fonesforsafety project. In recent years Elephant Jobs has designed and delivered a number of projects which have become examples of ‘best practice’ locally with in Southwark, London wide and nationally.
